Telefunken MD-421, an early version of the Sennheiser MD-421. It’s one of a pair recovered from a 1960s United Nations translator’s desk. Unbelievable on toms, guitar cabs, and voice. It has that early Telefunken / Neumann clarity with the slower attack characteristics of a good dynamic mic.
